The Culpeper Chamber of Commerce announced Friday that longtime staff member Martha Sanford is leaving to join the staff at The Culpeper.
Sanford was an employee at the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce for more than 16 years and was a fixture at ribbon cuttings, social gatherings and community meetings.
“Martha has been a great asset to our organization and wish her the very best in her new opportunity. We look forward to working with her in her new role,” Culpeper Chamber of Commerce CEO/President Wes Mayles said.
Sanford will serve as a Sales Counselor at The Culpeper.
"My journey with the chamber has been an amazing one and most of you know it has been a job that I have loved,” Sanford said. “In my 16-plus years I've had the opportunity to work with countless individuals that have made a positive impact in my business career and my personal life as well. Thank you all! I'm excited for the journey ahead and the challenges this new job offers and will continue to be engaged in and support the Culpeper Chamber and my community."
