Arson likely cause of Dale City house fire
With accidental causes ruled out, the Prince William County Fire Marshal's Office is now investigating the fire that destroyed a Dale City house and damaged three others as possible arson, according to a search warrant affidavit filed this week in Prince William County Circuit Court.

Fire chief reports on 911 problems
Since upgrades were made to Prince William County’s 911 call system, the primary server that relays the calls has experienced interruptions on four occasions. The first led to a seven-minute delay in dispatching firefighters to a house fire in Dale City, officials said Tuesday.

A 20-year-old man is being held without bond in the Prince William-Manassas regional jail on charges connected to a break-in at a Manassas apartment on Wednesday, police said.
