Prince William County police reported four strong-arm robberies and one failed attempt over two days in the Manassas and Woodbridge areas.

No one has been charged to any of the unrelated incidents. The first was on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

Two young men allegedly robbed another young man of his iPod in the area of Amherst Drive and Amelia Court in the Manassas area, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.

The victim, who was not injured, was walking near his home when a group of males walked by him, Hernandez said. Two people from the group walked back to catch up with the victim and took the iPod from his hands.

The next day a 20-year-old Woodbridge woman was robbed at 3:30 p.m. in the 15500 block of Cardinal Drive in Woodbridge.

She was attacked from behind by a man who stole her earrings and cell phone, Hernandez said. She suffered minor injuries to her face.

A group of masked robbers attacked a teenager in the third strong-arm robbery, Hernandez said.

About 5:30 p.m. a 13-year-old boy was walking in the area of Blue Pool Drive and Brandy Moor Loop in Wood-bridge, she said.

A group of masked people attacked him from behind and stole his backpack and shoes. The victim received minor injuries, Hernandez said.

The four robbers wore black bandannas over their faces.

Later that day, a 35-year-old Dale City man was assaulted and robbed at 9:34 p.m.

He was arriving at a restaurant in the 14300 block of Jefferson Davis Highway to pick up his food when two young men approached him, Hernandez said.

The robbers punched and kicked the Dale City man, then stole his cash, police said.

The victim suffered minor injuries.

An attempted strong-arm robbery occurred minutes later at 9:50 p.m. in the 13500 block of Minnieville Road in Woodbridge.

The victim, a 37-year-old woman from Quantico, told police that a man tried to rob her.

The woman was returning from delivering pizzas when the attempted robber demanded money and threatened to hurt her.

She called for help and the suspect left in a dark colored vehicle driven by another person.
