Arrest made in Woodbridge double stabbing

Authorities have made an arrest in the double stabbing that occurred in Woodbridge late Tues-day evening, according to a Prince William County police spokeswoman.

According to police, a 25-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man, both from Woodbridge, were stabbed by an acquaintance outside a residence in the 13300 block of Greenacre Drive at about 11:58 p.m.

Both were flown to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

The suspect’s identity was not immediately available, but will be released shortly, police said.
