Manassas City police reported the following incidents:
Nine cars broken into in the Battery Heights apartment complex between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. The burglar targeted car stereos, purses, money, credit cards and a Dell laptop computer. Police said all nine cars had their windows smashed.
An Xbox gaming system and a laptop computer were stolen from a home in the 10100 block of Strawflower Lane between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday. Police said someone broke through a basement window to get inside the house.
An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from a home in the 9400 block of Taney Road between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm on Thursday. Police said someone entered the home by smashing an upstairs window.
