Fire engulfs RV parked at Nokesville residence

A fire engulfed a motor home parked at a residence in the 12800 block of Aden Road in Nokesville on Tuesday morning.

Prince William County firefighters received a report of the fire at about 10:49 a.m. and had the fire extinguished within about 15 minutes, said Randy Earl, spokesman for the Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue.

The blaze destroyed the RV, Earl said.

No injuries were reported, Earl said, and the fire did not damage the house.

A family was living in the RV, Earl said, but it was unknown at deadline the exact number of people living there.

According to the fire department, the family was working for the owners of the residence where their RV was parked.

The Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the blaze, Earl said.
