Prince William County police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Monday afternoon.
Around 2:59 p.m., a man approached a teller inside BB&T Bank at 16514 River Ridge Blvd. near Dumfries and demanded money, said Officer Erika Hernandez, police spokeswoman.
He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, Hernandez said.
The robber was described as white, between 20 and 25 years old, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and 200 pounds.
He had a goatee, police said, and was wearing a white T-shirt, black pants, black shoes and a baseball cap with a skull and crossbones design.
Police said additional details would be released when it becomes available.
