Prince William police have arrested five more people who they said were involved in several residential and com-mercial burglaries in the Woodbridge area over the last six months.
Police made four arrests last week in connection with other burglaries in the area.
Police said their investigation linked the men to the burglaries after they arrested them for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop, Hernandez said.
On March 29, more than $5,000 was stolen from the Oasis Club at 13188 Marina Way, in Woodbridge.
On May 31, an undisclosed amount of money was stolen from the Outback Steak House at 14580 Potomac Mills Road, in Woodbridge.
On Jan. 2, a home in the 1400 Block of Fond Hollow Lane in Woodbridge was burglarized.
Joe Anthony Interiano, 18, of 13751 Lynn St. in Woodbridge, was arrested and charged with statutory burglary and destruction of property, said Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman. He is accused of the burglary at the Outback Steak House.
Alex Mauricio Villatoro, 19, of 1404 Illinois Court in Woodbridge, was arrested and charged with statutory burglary and grand larceny. He is accused of breaking into the Oasis Club, Hernandez said.
Anthony Lemus, 19, of 1344 Redbud Court in Woodbridge, was arrested and charged with statutory burglary and grand larceny. Lemus i
accused of breaking into the Oasis Club, Hernandez said.
Two 17-year-olds from Woodbridge also have been arrested and charged with statutory burglary. They are accused of breaking into the house at Fond Hollow Lane. They were released to a parent and will have a hearing in the Juve-nile and Domestic Relations Court.
The first four to be arrested earlier in the month in connection with the burglaries were:
• Wilmer Humberto Ortez, 18, of 14881 Enterprise Lane was arrested on July 3 and charged with two counts of statutory burglary, and two counts of grand larceny. Ortez is accused of breaking into the houses and stealing ap-proximately $5,205 in property. He is being held without bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 5, Her-nandez said.
• Edward Steven Dell'Acqua, 20, of 1404 Illinois Court, was also arrested July 3 and charged with possession of stolen property. Dell'Acqua is accused of being in possession of some of the stolen property. He is sched-uled to appear in court on Aug. 5, Hernandez said
• Matthew Juan Gonzales, 18, of 14738 Tamarack Place, was arrested Saturday and charged with statutory Burglary and grand larceny. Gonzales is accused of breaking into the Dumfries house. He was released in lieu of $2,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 5, Hernandez said.
• James Anthony Cox, 18, of 14413 Melbourne Ave., was arrested on Friday and charged with statutory burglary and grand larceny. He is accused of the burglary at the home in Woodbridge, Hernandez said.
Except for the two juveniles, all of the accused are scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 5, Hernandez said. Bond information was not available, Hernandez said.

I’ve written before but apparently the reporters of this paper don’t want to do their job completely and competently. The community would like to know whether or not those arrested are illegal aliens or legal residents. Is it too much to ask to have ALL of the facts reported? If they are illegal, they should serve their sentence then be deported. By simply deporting them, they will not pay for their crime and will be back over the border and in the community in no time. If legal residents, then we would like to know that when they serve their sentence they will be back on our streets. Perhaps all readers of the paper should start demanding that the citizenship status be reported in these articles.

Yep, they all are. What a pleasure to look accross the street and seeing the police doing their job and arresting each and every one of them. Gosh, it was just pouring down, but all of them were to sit down on the sidewalk.
Should have seen the mother’s and countless relatives trying to come to the rescue within 2 minutes of the arrest.
Arrest these thieves and throw the book at them!
