Indictments

Two teenagers were indicted on charges stemming from a December fire at a Dumfries area town house in two of 233 indictments handed up by the Prince William Circuit Court grand jury April 7.

The grand jury indicted Seth Michael Mazza, 19, of 13804 Botts Ave. in Woodbridge on a charge of arson and Jared Donald Neely, 18, of 4 Peaceful Court in Stafford on a charge of statutory burglary for a Dec. 6 fire that destroyed a town house at 17455 Kagera Drive in Dumfries and caused $20,000 worth of damages to the two neighboring town houses.

Mazza and Neely were arrested by the U.S. Marshal's task force in January.

During Mazza's preliminary hearing in March witnesses testified that the teens broke into the house while the owner was out of town. Before leaving the house, Mazza set it on fire, witnesses said.

Mazza will stand trial on Sept. 8 and 9; Neely's trial is set for July 14.

A grand jury indictment means that prosecutors have sufficient evidence to take a case to trial; it is not a finding of guilt or innocence.

Addresses for 16 people were not available. The remainder of the indictments is as follows:

• Martin Van Buren Barr III, 40, 19008 Barnett Circle, Triangle,  credit card theft, credit card fraud and obtaining money by false pretenses.

• Ernest Burroughs, 42, 255 Fair Place St., Elloree, SC, grand larceny.

• Deshanta Ray Calloway, 19, 8594 Richmond Ave., Manassas, robbery and misdemeanor brandishing a firearm.

• Ira Alonzo Campbell, 25, 4922 Lumbar Lane, Dale City, two counts of assault and battery of a police officer, two counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphenalia, misdemeanor obstruction of justice, misdemeanor disorderly conduct and misdemeanor obstruction of justice.

• Ever Jonathan Chinchilla, 22, 14003 Lindendale Road, Dale City, aggravated sexual battery.

• Coy Jamal Dunn, 20, 4118 Gilford Lane, Dale City, robbery and use or display of a firearm in commission of a felony.

• Stephen Todd Duvall, 39, 8864 Oliver Court, Manassas, possession with intent to distribute schedule 1 or schedule 2 narcotics.

• Hipolito Godoy Najarro, 28, 11220 Soldiers Ridge Circle, Apt. 301, Manassas aggravated malicious wounding.

• Brian Joseph Haley, 28, 211-396 Forest Lake Drive, Stephens City, driving after being adjudicated as an habitual offender.
