A 20-year-old man is being held without bond in the Prince William-Manassas regional jail on charges connected to a break-in at a Manassas City apartment on Wednesday, police said.
According to Manassas police, a 45-year-old woman reported she saw a man inside her apartment after returning home from a walk at about 8:17 a.m.
After officers searched the area and found no one, a description of the burglar was sent to Prince William County and Manassas Park police.
At 2:30 p.m., Manassas Park police arrested a man for allegedly trespassing on railroad tracks, Manassas City police stated in a news release.
The man fit the description of the burglar from earlier, authorities said, and property belonging to the 45-year-old woman was allegedly found on him.
Moises Argueta of no fixed address was charged with burglary, according to the news release. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 25.
