UPDATE: Police continue search for shooter

Prince William County police continued their search Tuesday afternoon for a man wanted in connection with a shooting earlier in the day outside a Manassas area grocery store.
The assailant is described as Hispanic, approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, with chipped front teeth. He was wearing blue jeans, white sneakers and an orange baseball hat.
The victim, who police did not identify, was flown to an area hospital. Information about the severity of his injuries was not available Tuesday.
Police responded to a report of a shooting in progress at Global Food, 10320 Festival Lane in the Manassas area, shortly before noon Tuesday, Prince William County police spokeswoman, Officer Erika Hernandez said.
The victim was approached on the sidewalk in front of the store, Hernandez said.
The men exchanged words but police are unsure if the men had been arguing or just talking before the shooting, Hernandez said.
One of the men, who was carrying a handgun, shot the other and left the scene in a dark colored SUV, Hernandez said.
Tuesday afternoon, the sidewalk and parking lot in front of Global Food was blocked off with yellow police caution tape as police continued their investigation.
“The reason for the shooting is unknown right now,” Hernandez said outside the store Tuesday afternoon.
No further information was available Tuesday.

I got my facts straight Native1hag,
That is pure bull. They are going to build a commuter parking lot there and the Home Depot is also facing hard times. Quit apologizing for all the thieves in the area. How about all those thefts at all the new homes that are being built by all the Illegal Hispanics. Most builders now will not put appliances in the home until a day or so before settlement. Never had that problem before until all the low lifes came to town to work in that industry. Take your little fact finding butt over to Walmart and talk to loss prevention on who they catch stealing. But that would get in the way of your Agenda.

Wrong Cobra! get your facts straight before you post your ignorant opinions for people to read. The reason Walmart is shutting down is because they are building a Super Walmart in the Manassas Mall,where Sears used to be. The owner of the strip mall didn’t want the expansion of a Super Walmart next to Home Depot.

Imagine that? An Hispanic commiting a crime with a handgun. Just a mile away in Coverstone there was a strong armed robbery. Bet ya it was another Hispanic as that neighborhood is infested with crime. That’s why Walmart is shutting down and moving away from that area. To many thieves in the area.
