Manassas City police are investigating two business burglaries that occurred over the holiday weekend.
In the first incident, someone stole an Apple Macbook laptop computer valued at $3,250 from Double Eagle LLC, 8649 Phoenix Drive, between 5 p.m. on Saturday and 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Manassas City police spokesman Sgt. Tim Neumann said.
The burglar entered the business by breaking a front glass door window and unlocking the deadbolt on the door, Neumann said.
In the second incident, police responded to an alarm sounding at Liana’s Restaurant, 9780 Zimbro Avenue on Tuesday at 2:05 a.m.
When police arrived, they saw that the front glass door had been broken, but nothing was missing, police said.
Police believe that the alarm scared the burglars away before they entered the restaurant.
Anyone with information about these burglaries is asked to call Manassas City Crime Solvers at 703-330-0330. You don’t have to give your name, just the information and you could get a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
