A 26-year-old Ashburn man was killed in a two-car collision early Saturday morning in Prince William County.
John David Lindsay died at the scene while the driver of the other vehicle, an unidentified 47-year-old Manassas resident, survived and was taken to Prince William Hospital with non-life threatening
injuries.
Lindsay was driving a 1992 Honda Accord northbound on Sudley Road near Featherbed Lane in Haymarket at approximately 5:30 a.m. when he crossed the double-yellow line and collided head on with a 2004 Toyota Ta-coma.
According to Prince William police spokesperson Erika Hernandez, speed was a factor in the accident. It is not known whether alcohol was involved at this point, said Hernandez.
