Police stopped a street robbery last week and arrested three suspects after seeing a group of five males fighting behind a Dale City convenience store while on patrol, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman on Monday.
Gilbert Gaisey, 20, of 15671 Tassleford Lane, Apt. 103, in Woodbridge; Anthony B. Gilliom, 18, of 15212 Crescent St. in the Dale City area; and Thomas Humphrey IV, 20, of 12909 Ness Hollow Court in Bristow, were each charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, Hernandez said.
Police said a 41-year-old Dale City man was attacked and told to hand over his money behind the store in the 14700 block of Darbydale Avenue at around 11:43 p.m. Thursday.
The man tried to fend off his attackers with a wood stick from the ground while being kicked and punched, Hernandez said. He sustained bruises and abrasions from the attack.
His friend, a 40-year-old Dale City man, also sustained minor injuries while trying to help, police said.
Detectives with the police department’s street crimes unit saw the melee, stopped to investigate and arrested the three men accused of the robbery, Hernandez said.
Each of the three suspects was held in lieu of a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 22.

Um….datruthx3…Seriously, you need to stop texting people because it looks like you can’t read/write anymore. Your point was taken and it is a great point but when you write like that….it is hard to truly get your point across. Not a sermon…Just a thought
