Prince William and Manassas Park police departments reported the following incidents:
Dale City
• Two video game systems, video games, cell phone equipment, an iPod and cash were stolen from a residence in the 3500 block of Wanda Court between 6:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Monday. The patio door was forced open to get inside, police said.
Dumfries area
• A handgun valued at $500 was stolen from an apartment in the 2800 block of Woodmark Drive between 10 a.m. March 23 and 7 p.m. Friday.
Gainesville
• A moped valued at $1,000 was stolen from a garage in the 15100 block of Stepping Stone Drive between 7 p.m. April 12 and 8 p.m. April 21. There were no signs of forced entry, police said.
Lake Ridge area
• A 6-month-old white pit bull with brown spots was stolen from a backyard in the 2500 block of Paxton Street around 6 p.m. Monday. The victim reported that he saw someone enter the backyard and steal the puppy. The thief was described as a thin black man, between 18 and 23 years old, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, who left the scene in a dark sedan.
• A TV, a DVD player, decorative pins, military pendants and jewelry valued at $2,800 were stolen from a residence in the 12400 block of Cavalier Drive between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. April 17. There were no signs of forced entry, police said.
Manassas area
• Copper materials valued at $29,790 were stolen from storage containers broken into at a construction site in the 9100 block of Freedom Center Boulevard between 5 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Manassas Park area
• A black and red motor scooter valued at $400 was stolen from in front of the victim's apartment complex in the 7400 block of Prince Charles Court between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Manassas Park
• Catalytic converters valued at $200 were sawed off and stolen from two Hondas parked at a business in the 8300 block of Euclid Avenue. Police were called around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday after the business owner tried to start one of the vehicles and heard a loud bang, according to police.
• A five-gallon jug of coins and dollar bills was stolen from a bedroom of a residence in the 100 block of Colfax Drive between 11:30 a.m. and noon Monday. Police said a damaged door that would not lock was used to get inside.
• About $320 in damage was done to four tires on a 1988 Dodge Ram in the 100 block of Lambert Drive between 8 p.m. Saturday and 7:38 p.m. Sunday.
• A 1999 Harley-Davidson valued at $14,000 was stolen from a front yard the 100 block of Manassas Drive around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Police said the victim heard banging on the front door and after opening it, saw a male riding the motorcycle east on Manassas Drive.
• A Magellan Maestro GPS unit valued at $350 was stolen from a 2007 Honda Accord in the 9300 block of Lindsey Lane between 9:26 a.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Saturday.
Woodbridge
• Rims, tires, a stereo system and a GPS unit valued at $5,900 were stolen from a 2005 Mitsubishi Gallant in the 1400 block of Oregon Avenue between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 5 a.m. Tuesday. Windows were broken to get inside, police said.
• A GPS unit valued at $250 was stolen from a 2005 Dodge pickup truck in the 13700 block of Smoketown Road around 3:45 p.m. Saturday. A window was broken to get inside, police said.
• Someone tried to break into an apartment in the 13900 block of Longwood Manor Court around 12:55 a.m. Monday. Police said the victim reported someone trying to break-in. When police arrived, they found a window had been tampered with and a ladder at the scene.
• A 2005 Suzuki LTZ400 and a 2007 Big Tex trailer valued at roughly $10,820 were stolen from the victim's property in the 12900 block of Sleepy Creek Way between 1 a.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday.
• Two rims valued at $1,350 were removed and stolen from a 2002 Ford Mustang in the 1700 block of Florida Avenue around 5 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle was parked in front of the victim's residence, police said.
• Copper wire valued at $1,060 was removed and stolen from three units under construction in the 15500 block of Chicacoan Drive between noon Saturday and 8 a.m. Monday.
