Prince William and Manassas City police departments reported the

following incidents:

Bristow area

• The windshields on five Piedmont Landscape company vehicles were smashed in the 12200 block of Livingston Road between 10 p.m. May 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday. A dump truck was driven into a storage shed and a storage trailer. Police said a trailer attached to the dump truck was used to damage at least one of the other vehicles. Addi-tionally, the windshields of four personal vehicles parked at the gated lot were also smashed. Damage is estimated at approximately $18,000, police said.

Dale City

• A washer valued at $300 was stolen from a vacant apartment in the 14800 block of Cloverdale Road between 9 a.m. April 27 and 10 a.m. May 1. There were no signs of forced entry, police said.

• A blue, four-door 1991 Honda Accord valued at $2,250 was stolen from the 14300 block of Brook Drive around 6:15 a.m. Saturday. An already broken window was used to get inside, police said.

• The front hood and two rear doors were stolen off a 2002 Lincoln Escalade in the 3500 block of Forestdale Avenue between 8 p.m. Sunday and 2:32 a.m. Monday.

• A rim and a tire valued at $450 were stolen off a 2001 Honda Civic in the 12800 block of Island House Loop between 1 and 4 a.m. May 2.

• Saws, weed trimmers, nail guns, sanders, two air compressors and chainsaws valued at $13,415 were stolen from work trucks and a storage shed in the 5500 block of Neddleton Avenue between 8:30 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tues-day.

• A toolbox and tools valued at $1,200 were stolen from a work van in the 13500 block of Kim Court between 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday. There were no signs of forced entry, police said.

• Jewelry and a digital camera valued at $3,160 were stolen from a residence in the 14300 block of Spriggs Road between 8 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Wednesday. A sliding glass door to the basement was broken to get inside, police said.

Dumfries area

• Someone tried to force their way into a residence in the 2900 block of Wetherburn Court around 8:30 p.m. Sunday. The burglar did not get inside and fled before police arrived.

Manassas

• An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from Old Town Sweet Shoppe, 9411 Battle St., between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Police said an employee found the front door open when she got to the restaurant.

Manassas area

• Three saws and a router valued at $325 were stolen from a work truck in the 10100 block of Irongate Way between 11 p.m. May 1 and 6:30 a.m. May 2. A door was forced open to get inside, police said.

Woodbridge

• Shoes, food and golf accessories valued at $470 were stolen from a residential garage in the 16200 block of Radburn Street around 10 p.m. Saturday. There were no signs of forced entry, police said.

• Auto repair tools valued at $2,672 were stolen from a business in the 1200 block of Profit Court between 9:30 p.m. May 2 and 9 a.m. Saturday. A front window was broken to get inside, police said.

• An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from an auto repair business in the 14700 block of Build America Drive between 7 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday. A glass door was broken to get inside, police said.

• A stereo system valued at $2,400 was stolen from a 1992 Acura in the 13500 block of Cridercrest Place between 7 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. Sunday. An already broken window was used to get inside, police said.

• Four drills, two grinders, one saw, a battery charger, an extension cord, a nail gun and a miter box valued at $2,350 were stolen from work trucks in the 14900 block of Persistence Drive between 5 p.m. May 2 and 7:30 a.m. Monday. Locks on the trucks were broken to get inside, police said.
