Prince William police reported the following incidents:
Woodbridge
• A 7-year-old girl told police that a strange man came into her bedroom in the 2800 block of Woodmark Drive about 3:08 a.m. Sunday.
The girl told police that the intruder, who was wearing a white T-shirt and white shoes, left the apartment when she woke up.
• A video game system, video games and jewelry worth an estimated $4,400 were stolen from a home in the 14400 block of Orange Court about 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Police responded to an alarm call at the house and found that a rear door was forced open.
• A camping stove, a drill, and a saw valued at $495 were stolen from a home in the 1700 block of Maurice Drive between 11:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Thursday.
Entry was gained through a broken window.
• A hand gun, ammunition, and cash were stolen from an apartment in the 1800 block of Gableridge Turn between 8 and 11 p.m. Sunday.
There were no signs of forced entry.
• An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from an apartment in the 2800 unit block of Woodmark Drive between 7 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
There were no signs of forced entry into the apartment.
• Two laptop computers, two video game systems, video games and two class rings worth an estimated total of $5,300 were stolen from a home in the 14300 block of Franklin Street between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
Entry was gained through an unlocked window.
• A riding lawn mower valued at $4,000 was stolen from a home in the 14700 block of Arizona Avenue about 7 p.m. Thursday.
The mower was left unsecured in the victim's back yard.
• Scrap metal valued at $430 was stolen from a business's parking lot in the 14100 block of Telegraph Road at about 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
Witnesses saw three people loading the metal into a white van.
• A 35-year-old woman reported that her purse and personal documents were stolen from a shopping cart while she shopped at a department store in the 17000 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at about 8 p.m. Saturday.
The total amount of stolen property was $340
• Two victims reported that they had items stolen from their vehicles parked in the 1400 block of California Street between midnight and 7 a.m. Saturday.
A GPS valued at $207 was stolen from a 2006 Lincoln Towncar, and a small amount of change was stolen from a 1991 Jeep Cherokee.
There were no signs of forced entry into either vehicle.
• A purse and personal documents were stolen from a car parked in the 18500 block of Creek Road between11 p.m. Friday and 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
The victim told police she left the purse in a friend's car while they were at a party.
The estimated value of the lost property was $711.
• A 2002 blue Ford Explorer SUV valued at $13,000 was stolen from a home in the 5500 block of Saint Charles Drive between 1 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday.
