Prince William police reported the following
incidents:
Gainesville
• A purse and its contents valued at $205 were stolen from a vehicle in the 8100 block of Tenbrook Drive between midnight and 9 a.m. Monday. The vehicle was left unlocked, police said.
Independent Hill area
• Jewelry, an mp3 player, a portable game system and other items valuing $15,740 were stolen from a residence in the 14700 block of Conway Drive off Minnieville Road near Va. 234 between 9:15 a.m. and 8:15 p.m. Tuesday. A rear window was broken to gain entry, police said.
Lake Manassa
• Two sets of golf clubs, one valued at $1,000 and the other valued at $1,150, were stolen from an unsecured club-house at a golf course in the 15000 block of Fallsview Court in late July. One set is believed to be stolen between 5 p.m. July 22 and 8:30 a.m. July 23 and the other between 3 p.m. July 28 and 8:30 a.m. July 29.
Manassas area
• Power tools and other items valuing $2,190 were stolen from a business tool shed in the 11200 block of Balls Ford Road between 3 p.m. Aug. 2 and 5:45 a.m. Tuesday. Locks were cut to gain entry, police said.
Montclair area
• A skateboard valued at $169 was stolen from a residential garage in the 15500 block of Laurel Ridge Drive be-tween 9 p.m. Monday and 2 a.m. Tuesday. Police said it is unknown how entry was gained.
Woodbridge
• A cell phone valued at $299 was stolen from a
employee area at a store in the 2700 block of Potomac Mills Circle around 5:30 p.m. Aug. 2. The phone was left unsecured, police said.
• Power tools valued at $1,080 were stolen from a vehicle in the 1400 block of Harrison Street between 5:30 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday. A rear door lock was broken to gain entry, police said.
• Power tools valued at $1,900 were stolen from a vehicle in the 14000 block of Mathews Drive between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 4 a.m. Wednesday. The rear door lock was broken to gain entry, police said.
• Power tools valued at $7,500 were stolen from a vehicle in the 1500 block of Frances Drive between 6 p.m. Mon-day and 6 a.m. Tuesday. The rear door lock was broken to gain entry, police said.
