Prince William and Manassas police reported the following incidents:
Dale City
• A video game system valued at $200 was stolen from a residence in the 14500 block of Fullerton Road around 11:20 a.m. Monday. Police said the victim saw two burglars searching through two bedrooms of his house. They then fled with the video game system.
The victim was not injured during the burglary. There were no signs of forced entry, police said.
A detailed description of the burglars was not available.
Gainesville
• Copper wire, two gas cans, and other construction equipment valued at $17,268 were stolen from two storage trailers that were broken into in the 15400 block of Lee Highway between 3:30 p.m. March 5 and 6 a.m. March 6. The locks were broken to get in.
Manassa
• A laptop computer; a Sony video camera; an iPod; a Razr cell phone; jewelry; an Adidas duffel bag; and Kodak, Sony and Samsung digital cameras valued at $2,600 were stolen from a home in the 8900 block of Rosewood Street between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. A rear door was forced open to get in.
• Ashton Avenue Diner, 9920 Cockrell Ave., was broken into around 3:14 a.m. Wednesday. Officers responded to the diner for an alarm sounding and found the front door smashed out, police said. A search of the business and the area was done, but no one was located. Nothing was stolen, police said.
Manassas area
• A gray 2004 Chevrolet Silverado valued at $20,000 was stolen from the 12100 block of Balls Ford Road between 3 and 7 p.m. March 6.
• A computer valued at $1,000 was stolen from a community center in the 8000 block of Urbanna Road between 6:45 p.m. Feb. 7 and 6:12 p.m. March 6. A window was used to get in.
Manassas Park area
• A business was broken into in the 8300 block of Rugby Road around 10:05 p.m. March 5. According to police, officers responded to a business alarm and found the front door open. Nothing was stolen, police said. Glass was broken to get in. Police said the burglar was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt, a white T-shirt and white sneakers, and fled in a white SUV. No further description was available.
