Prince William police reported the following incidents:
Bristow area
• Copper wire valued at $700 was stolen from a house under construction in the 12400 block of Rochester Park Court between 4:30 p.m. March 11 and 9 a.m. March 12.
Gainesville
• The front doors of a store in the 13000 block of Gateway Center Drive were tampered with between 11:10 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday. Entry was not gained.
Haymarket
• A window was tampered with at a residence in the 2100 block of Mountain Road between 7 p.m. March 12 and 6:15 p.m. March 13. Entry was not gained.
Nokesville
• A handgun valued at $500 was stolen from a residence in the 10800 block of Crockett Road around 7:55 p.m. Friday. A window was forced open to gain entry.
Occoquan area
• Two laptop computers, a basketball and shoes valued at $2,830 were stolen from a residence in the 1400 block of Admiral Drive around noon Friday. A locked rear door was broken to gain entry.
