Fairfax man turns himself in for burglary

A 39-year-old Fairfax County man wanted in connection to a break-in at a house in the Manassas area turned himself in to police early Friday morning.

After walking into the Western District Station, Alsberry was charged with statutory burglary and grand larceny, said Officer Erika Hernandez, police spokeswoman.

Alsberry is accused of breaking into an acquaintance's house on April 3 and stealing a laptop and personal checks, police said.

He is being held without bond and has a May 19 court date, Hernandez said.

Manassas teen arrested in connection to larceny

A 16-year-old Manassas Park girl was charged with grand larceny and statutory burglary following an incident around 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the 7900 block of Manassas Drive near Manassas Park, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.

Police said the victim returned home to find two people upstairs.

The two ran away, but one was arrested nearby, Hernandez said.

The girl, whose name was not released because she is a juvenile, is accused of breaking a window to get into the house and stealing jewelry and a video game system, Hernandez said.

She was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center and will have a hearing in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

Dale City man charged with burglary, larceny

Antwann Lavail Johnson, 29, residing at 13210 Kerrydale Road in Dale City, was charged with statutory burglary, grand larceny and possession of burglary tools after police were called to a burglary-in-progress, said Officer Erika Hernandez, police spokeswoman.

The incident happened around noon Wednesday in the 13100 block of Quann Lane in Dale City, Hernandez said.

An officer responding to the scene arrested the suspect after a lookout was broadcast, Hernandez said.

He is being held without bond. No court date was available, Hernandez said.
