Man reports assault while smoking outside

A 33-year-old Woodbridge man was assaulted while smoking a cigarette outside a restaurant in the 14300 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge around 10:23 a.m. Sunday, Prince William County police said.

According to police, the assailant fled when he noticed other people in the area.

Police described the assailant as a white man between 20 and 30, approximately 6 feet tall and 170 pounds who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants at the time of the incident.

Two Dale City teens

face assault charges

Two Dale City teenagers were charged in connection with an assault that occurred on Lynwood Drive at Lambsgate Lane in Dale City around 9 p.m. Wednesday, said Sharon Richardson, Prince William police spokeswoman.

According to police, an 18-year-old Dale City man reported that he was assaulted while riding his bicycle.

One person asked to ride his bike, and then made him fall to the ground. Another person then rifled through his pockets, Richardson said.

The two stole the bike and the 18-year-old's cell phone, police said.

Michael D. Finn, 18, of 5067 Lambsgate Lane, and a 17-year-old boy, whose name was not released because he is a minor, were each charged with strong-arm robbery, Richardson said.

The 17-year-old was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center pending a hearing in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, Richardson said.

Finn is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 5. No bond information was available.

Woodbridge boy, 15, faces assault charge

A 15-year-old Woodbridge boy was charged with strong-arm robbery following an incident in the 1400 block of Old Bridge Road in Lake Ridge around 5:45 p.m. Monday, said Sharon Richardson, Prince William police spokes-woman.

According to police, a 19-year-old Woodbridge man was assaulted while smoking a cigarette at the side of a restau-rant.

The assailant stole a hand-held game system, a CD player and a watch before running away, Richardson said.

The 15-year-old, whose name was not released because he was a minor, was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center pending a hearing in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

The alleged victim did not require medical treatment, Richardson said.

Lorton man reports assault at friend's house

A 24-year-old Lorton man was assaulted after answering the door at a friend's house in the 2100 block of Culpeper Drive in Woodbridge at about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, Prince William County police said.

According to police, the man was watching a soccer game when someone rang the doorbell.

When he answered the door, an unknown male said someone had hit a family member before hitting the 24-year-old, said Sharon Richardson, police spokeswoman.

Police said the assailant ran away with a group of males.

The victim refused medical treatment, Richardson said.

Funny thing about michael finn is that he got busted for robbing cars no less than a year ago. Guess he didn’t learn his lesson

Well school is out so the poor young teens have nothing to do but to beat and rob people.
