Teen charged with intent to distribute drugs
Lester Keith Wilson Jr., 19, of 14457 Belvedere Drive in Woodbridge, was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.
Police arrested Wilson while investigating a separate incident in the 2700 block of Potomac Mills Circle in Woodbridge around 8:45 p.m. Friday, Hernandez said.
Wilson was released on a summons and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 20, police said.
Woodbridge man charged after fight
Ismael Rangel, 20, of 13950 Jefferson Davis Highway, Lot 52, in Woodbridge, was charged with malicious wounding after police responded to a fight-in-progress call early Saturday morning, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.
The incident occurred in the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway around 12:45 a.m., police said.
The investigation alleges that Rangel struck a 24-year-old Woodbridge man on the back with a beer bottle, Hernandez said.
The 24-year-old was transported to a local hospital and was treated for a cut on his back, police said.
Rangel was held in lieu of a $25,000 bond, but no court date was available.
Dumfries man held on weapons charge
Alexander Brown III, 38, of 2246 Banks Court in Dumfries, was charged with possession of a concealed weapon, a knife, after police were called to the 19000 unit block of Fuller Heights Road in Triangle for a disorderly-in-progress around 11:14 p.m. Saturday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.
During a search at the time of arrest, officers allegedly found a knife on Brown, Hernandez said.
Brown was held in lieu of a $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 26.
Alexandria man charged for concealed knife
Jeremiah Antoine Taylor, 24, of 5550 N. Morgan St. in Alexandria, was charged with possession of a concealed weapon, a knife, during a traffic stop in the area of U.S. 1 and Opitz Boulevard in Woodbridge around 9:05 p.m. Friday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.
Taylor was released on a summons and has a Sept. 2 court date.
Teen robbed of wallet
at Potomac Mills
A 14-year-old Woodbridge boy was robbed of his wallet and cash inside a men's restroom at Potomac Mills mall, 2700 Potomac Mills Circle in Woodbridge, around 8 p.m. Friday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.
The teen reported that three unknown male juveniles approached him, one punched him in the face and then took his belongings, Hernandez said.
He sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene, police said.
Two attempt to rob Woodbridge man
A 22-year-old Woodbridge man reported that two unknown males approached him and demanded money in the 1800 unit block of Bel Air Road in Woodbridge around 10:30 p.m. Friday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.
The would-be robbers failed to get any of the man's money and fled the scene before police arrived, Hernandez said.
