Police searching for man wanted in fast food robbery
Prince William County police are asking for the public's help solving a robbery that occurred at a restaurant in the Dumfries area on Sunday night.
According to police, the robber placed an order at Five Guys, 17237 Wayside Drive, and handed money to the 19-year-old female clerk.
When the cash register drawer opened, he pulled out a handgun and reached across the counter pulling an undis-closed amount of cash out, as seen on a surveillance video police released Monday.
The suspect was described as a black or Hispanic man, between 18 and 25, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build, short black hair, brown eyes and a mustache. He was wearing a black coat and white T-shirt.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Prince William County Crime Solvers at 703-670-3700 or 1-866-TIPS. Callers don't have to give their name, just the information, and could earn up to a $1,000 cash reward.
No one was injured during the robbery, police said.
Man robbed at gunpoint, forced to undress
A 47-year-old Woodbridge man was robbed at gunpoint after being picked up by a stranger at Sheetz gas station on Prince William Parkway around 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, Prince William County police said.
A man offered the victim a ride and then took him to the 14300 block of North Park Court in Dale City, police said.
The driver then threatened the man with a gun and ordered him to take his clothes off and hand over his money, said Officer Erika
Hernandez, police spokeswoman.
After handing over his things, the man was able to get away and call police, Hernandez said.
The robber was described as a thin black man, between 25 and 30, and approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall. He was driving a maroon four-door sedan, police said.
Two teens charged with strong-arm robbery
Two 13-year-old Dumfries boys were charged in connection with the strong-arm robbery of another 13-year-old Dumfries boy in the area of Graham Park Road and Purvis Drive in Triangle around 6 p.m. Monday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.
Police said the victim reported that a group of unknown people tried to take his bicycle from them, and was punched in the face during the incident.
The boys accused in the case were released to their parents, Hernandez said.
Manassas store robbed, two women charged
Cristela Vasquez, 27, and Iris O. Santos-Hernandez, 21, both of 8699 Point of Woods Drive in Manassas, were each charged with grand larceny in the 7800 block of Sudley Road near Manassas around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, said Offi-cer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.
The two are accused of stealing about $782 in merchandise from a store, Hernandez said.
Each was held without bond and has an April 15 court date.
