Man hospitalized after hitting tree

A man was flown to a hospital after his truck hit a tree near Manassas.

A Ford F-150 was travelling southbound in the 9700 block of Brentsville Road around 2:43 a.m. when the driver lost control and hit a tree, Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman, said in a released state-ment. The man was not seriously injured and was not charged in the crash.

Man charged with assaulting woman

A Woodbridge man was charged with maliciously wounding a 46-year-old woman.

Rudolph Dwayne Wagner, 47, of 1500 Tyler Circle, Apt. 37, was arrested after an argument with the woman on Monday around 10:15 p.m., Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman, said. The woman was treated for fractures to her face.

Wagner was held without bond.

Pair faces charges after traffic stop

An Alexandria man was charged with possession of stolen property during a routine traffic stop.

Masaeray Turay, 24, of 5367 Taney Ave. in Alexandria, was stopped in the area of Prince William Parkway and Nobel Pond Way on Nov. 13 around 1:05 a.m.

The 2007 Hyundai Turay he was driving that had been reported stolen in Prince William County.

The passenger in the car, Lomprie Korma, 33, of 15704 Cloverdale Road in Dale City, was also charged with pos-session of stolen property, Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman said.

Police learned that she fraudulently purchased a 2007 Hyundai Sonata at a car dealership in Prince William County in April.

Korma has been wanted since then for obtaining goods by false pretense and forgery. Korma was held on an $11,000 bond and has a court date on Dec. 16.

Turay was held on a $2,500 bond and also has a court date of Dec. 16.

Men robbed at gunpoint in Dale City

Two men were robbed at gunpoint in Dale City

The victims, a 25-year-old Alabama man and a 23-year-old Mississippi man, said two men approached them in the 3300 block of Bronson Court in Dale City on Nov. 13 around 6:50 p.m. and demanded their wallets.

The robbers threatened the men with a gun, Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman said.

The first robber is described as a black male, between 17 and 19 years old, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 pounds, black hair and wearing a ski mask and a dark sweatshirt.

The second robber is also described as a black male,

between 17 and 19 years old, approximately 6 feet 1 inch tall, 200 pounds, black hair and wearing a red bandanna and black sweatshirt. They drove away in a gray SUV.

No one was injured.

Couple faces grand larceny charges

A Washington, D.C., couple was charged with grand larceny after they left a Manassas Mall department store with-out paying for $220 worth of merchandise, Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman said.

Alberto Arias, 44, of 3701 16 St. NW Washington, D.C., and Reina Marlen Rosa, 45, of 1458 Columbia Road NW, Washington, D.C., have been charged in the crime. The incident happened on Nov. 15 around 1:10 p.m.

Man charged with concealing stun gun

An Alexandria man was charged with pubic intoxication and possession of a concealed weapon.

Police were called to investigate a fight in the 12400 block of Dillingham Square in Lake Ridge on Nov. 13 around 10:40 p.m., Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman said.

William Addison Clark III, 30, of 5800 Quantrell Ave. in Alexandria, was charged after police found a stun gun on him. He was held on a $5,000 bond and has a court date of Dec. 1.

Dale City man faces cocaine charges

A Dale City man was charged with possession of cocaine and driving under the influence.

Police stopped Juan Martir Maravilla, 36, of 3915 Findley Road on Nov. 13 around 2:45 a.m. in the area of U.S. 1 and Featherstone Road in Woodbridge.

Police found the drugs during the traffic stop, Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman said.

He was held without bond and will appear in court on Dec. 17.

It is probably as the suspect was being searched (or chased down) that the stun gun was discovered.

Why would somebody be charged with concealing a “stun gun”, I thought they were completely legal to carry and use in case of emergency.
