Police are searching for suspects involved in a Manassas business burglary early Sunday morning, Manassas police say.
Officers responded to Andrade Market on Sudley Road at 1 a.m. for alarm sounding.
When officers arrived, the front window of the business had been shattered and ripped out. Police didn’t locate any suspects in the building.
The owner of the business later confirmed an undisclosed amount of cash was also taken from the cash register, according to police.
The business video surveillance system confirmed a male entered the business armed with a hammer, taking money from the cash register.
Police say the subject appeared to be about 5’10” tall, 170 pounds, wearing a ski mask over his head and face, a dark T-shirt, dark shorts, dark tennis shoes and dark colored gloves.
A second camera showed the silhouette of a second suspect at the door that never made entry.
The Manassas City Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case. The confidential 24-hour tip line is 703-330-0330.
