Prince William County police released the names of two men charged with sexual crimes against children in two separate cases.
In both instances the children knew the accused men. The children's families reported the incidents to police.
Mauricio Alberto Campos Guillen, 45, is accused of inappropriately touching a 13-year-old Woodbridge girl, said Officer Erika Hernandez, police spokeswoman.
She said that happened during four different visits since April.
Already incarcerated on a separate charge, Guillen was charged with the four counts of indecent liberties with a minor while he was in jail, Hernandez said.
Guillen lives in the 1400 block of Cottonwood Court in Woodbridge, said Hernandez.
An unrelated case of indecent liberties with a minor involves two children.
Roosevelt Trim Sr., 69, of 3326 Broker Lane, Dale City, was charged on two counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor and two charges of solicitation to commit a felony, Hernandez said.
She said he is accused of offering two girls, ages 11 and 14, money in exchange for sex as they were walked home from school.
One indecent liberties with a minor charge is a class four felony and carries a maximum punishment of two to 10 years in jail and fines of up to $100,000.
Both men are being held without bond. Both will have hearings in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, al-though their court hearing dates were unavailable.

quite often, the problem with the judicial system lies with the judges. I cant speak for or against the PWC judges but I know it has been an issue across our nation. This is why there has been such a big push for Jessica’s law. The loudest public voice I’ve heard trying to push the law through is Bill Oreilly. Many do not like Bill for his various points of view but I do think he has been a champion for the children.

Sunshine was not blaming the police. I think she was saying that the child offenders should be casterated.

TO SUNSHINE40. I AM SORRY ABOUT WHAT HAPPEN TO YOUR DAUGHTER. BUT WE CANNOT BLAME THE POLICE. THEY ARE ONLY OFFICERS APPLYING THE LAW. YOU NEED TO BLAME THE LAWMAKERS WHO ARE NOT DOING WHAT THEY WERE ELACTED TO DO.

I again agree with Chris. If you put these guys in general population, the sentence will not matter, the inmate judical system will take hold, and they will not make it to their release dates.

Funny but unless there was “penetration” these men will most likely get off with light sentences. Unfortunately the same thing happened to my daughter and our fine PWC police said basically that. They should be casterated in my opinion.
