Area man dies in Fairfax crash

A Manassas area man was killed in a car crash in Fairfax County early Wednesday.
A 2006 Toyota Corolla was traveling north on Va. 28 near McLearen Road just after 3 a.m. when the driver lost control and crashed, Fairfax police said.
The driver, Roberto Rivas of Prince Cole Court, was thrown from the car. The 28-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Speed appears to be a factor in the crash, police said.
