Christmas basket gets $650 boost

Mrs. Hill’s history classes at Osbourn Park School donated $100, “in memory of each of our students tragically killed this year.”

Anne and Allen Matthys of Woodbridge donated $25; an anonymous Dumfries donor gave $100; an anonymous Manassas donor sent $200; an anonymous Woodbridge donor gave $50 and an anonymous Dumfries resident gave $75.

The Manasseh Lodge #182, A.F. and A.M. of Manassas donated $100, “in Memory of Departed Brethren.”

HOW TO GIVE ...

Donations can be brought to the News & Messenger offices on Smoketown Road in Woodbridge and Church Street in Manassas. You may also mail checks to the News & Messenger, Attn: Christmas Basket, P.O. Box 431, Manassas, VA 20110.

All donations to the Christmas Basket go directly to the Prince William County Corps of the Salvation Army.
