People around the Manassas Regional Airport may have been seeing a familiar face.

It's former NFL star player and announcer Joe Theismann, who knows the value of his time.

When Theismann has an engagement within 400 miles of the Washington, D.C. region, he knows that Skyway Air Taxi offers one of the most time and cost effective way of reaching his destination.

"I love the service and efficiency," said Theismann. "I do not have to deal with long lines and delays at the major airports. I really love the fact that I do not have to show up an hour and a half before a flight."

Skyway's primary service area is a 400-mile radius around the Washington, D. C. region.  Skyway's aircraft can turn a four-hour road trip into a 60-minute scenic flight. Without boarding or airport delays, passengers simply "roll-up and go" at an airport convenient to their home or office.

While the airlines continue to drop service between regional city pairs less than 500 miles apart, Skyway offers direct air service between the airports most convenient to its customers.

"The hub-and-spoke model may be great for the airlines," said Carol Scott, Skyway's president and CEO. "The real problem is it just doesn't work as well for the passengers."

She added, "With great service and rates as low as $475 an hour for the entire plane, Skyway serves those who need to reach destinations directly and on time. Just ask Joe."

Based at the Manassas Airport, Skyway is the first Virginia-based next generation air taxi service. The firm can be reached at 800-311-0136.
