Internship program will offer unique opportunities to local students

The Prince William County Democratic Committee recently announced that is is accepting applications for its Democratic internship program, said Peter Frisbie, Prince William Democratic Committee chairman.
The program is open to current high school and college students. Students must be at least 13 years old to apply. The unpaid internships with flexible hours will be based in Prince William County out of the party headquarters.
Many will be available through November, Frisbie said
The interns will work closely with the Democratic campaign staff and elected officials in a variety of roles, Frisbie said.
