I-95 widening project lane closures for Nov. 17-21
Weather permitting, the following lane closures are scheduled as noted below:
I-95 southbound
When: Thursday Nov. 20, 10:30 p.m.-5 a.m.
What: Two right lanes closed
Where: I-95 south, from Exit 166, Fairfax County Parkway (Route 7100) to Pohick Road overpass
Why: Demolition of sound barrier wall
Police: Onsite for motorist safety
*As a part of the I-95 Fourth Lane Project the lanes widths on Furnace Road will be reduced at I-95 in Lorton through spring 2009. Motorists are advised to use caution.
