Lockdown at Gar-Field High School lifted

The lockdown in place at Gar-Field High School since 1:56 p.m. has been lifted, according to Prince William police.
Police were searching for someone reported to have been in the area with a rifle, according to Prince William County Public Schools.
A spokeswoman for the police department said no one was found during a search in the area surrounding the school and that the investigation determined that the person was carrying a paintball gun.

To be correct, the lock down occurred at 1:45, the staff and students were not informed about the details of the lockdown
