Police are investigating a double non-fatal shooting in the Dumfries area late Tuesday night.

The incident occurred about 11:17 p.m. in the area of Kirby and Wayside drives, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.

Three men were found in a car parked in the lot of the Princeton Woods Exxon gas station on U.S. 1; two of the men had been shot, Hernandez said.

Police radio traffic stated that one man was shot in the face, and the other was shot in the ribs.

A 19-year-old Dumfries man and a 20-year-old Triangle man were flown to Inova Fairfax Hospital, Hernandez said.

One of the men was last reported in critical condition, but Hernandez said both are expected to recover.

The three drove to the gas station after the shooting to get help, police said.

Officers initially were called for a firearm violation and then received additional calls of a shooting, she said.

No arrests had been made as of Wednesday evening, Hernandez said. Police do not believe the shooting was random.

No further information was available by press time.

It is kinda true, the cameras don’t seem to do anything…. For all we know the three out that late where on their way home from work.. The word assume starts with the kind of person who assumes…

Sound activated cameras are a blatent violation of the civil liberties of law abiding persons.

Here’s a gimmy for you.  What are the percentages of crimes solved with the video surveilence system employed in England?

The answer will shock you.

DEWEYZRUN- you have no idea what these young men were doing out. I am often out at 11:17 pm.  This could be a random shooting or could be something else. Let the authorities do their job and quit profiling!!!!!!
