Prince William police reported the following:
Woodbridge
• A fireplace was damaged, electrical fixtures were torn from the walls and paint was poured over the washer and dryer of a home in the 13500 block of Photo Drive between noon on Aug. 8 and 6 p.m. Monday. Entry to the home was gained by breaking a basement sliding glass door. Total estimated damage was $14,000.
• A washer, a dryer, a copier, a computer scanner, a vacuum, a carpet cleaner, a video game system and cordless phones were among the estimated $17,729 worth of property that was stolen from a home in the 2900 block of Wythe Court between noon Sunday and 3 p.m. Monday. Entry was gained through an unsecured rear door
• A television, a lap top computer, a DVD player, and two guitars worth and estimated total of $4,300 were stolen form a home in the 5500 block of Reardon Lane between 5:40 a.m.and 6:40 p.m. Tuesday. The burglary occurred while the victim at working and entry was gained by breaking the rear sliding glass door.
• A jar with coins was stolen from a home in the 5100 block of Salt Pond Place between 11:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Monday.
