Manassas Park man faces cocaine charge

Jose R. Lemus, 32, of 120 Mace St. in Manassas Park, was charged with two counts of conspiracy to distribute cocaine while police were searching his house around 5:46 p.m. Tuesday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.

The Prince William County, Manassas, Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force conducted the search after police received complaints of drug activity at the residence, Hernandez said.

Lemus is being held without bond and has a scheduled court date of Sept. 26.

Woodbridge boy faces stolen property charge

A 17-year-old Woodbridge boy was charged with possession of stolen property and resisting arrest following a traffic stop in the area of Antrim Circle and Cosgrove Way outside Dumfries around 12:44 a.m. Wednesday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.

When the vehicle being pulled over stopped, three people jumped out, leading police on a foot chase, according to police.

Police were able to catch one of those three, Hernandez said.

The investigation revealed they were driving a 2004 Volkswagen Passat that was stolen from Dumfries, Hernandez said.

The teen, whose name was not released because he is a minor, was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center pending a court hearing.

What kind of drugs are you guys shoking there?  PWC is MUCH better than Fairfax.  Enjoying all of those illegals and foreign speakers in all of your classrooms?  I quit my daughters’ PTO because a 30 minute meeting lasted over an hour due to all of the need to translate comments.
