Magic Window holds summer children’s concert
Prince William County Park Authority will host the final performance of this season’s Magic Window Summer Series at Sean T. Connaughton Community Plaza on Sunday at 4 p.m. with a concert by Cantare (Kan-tah-re).
Cantare is a celebration of life in Latin America and a tribute to Latin Fiesta. With songs in Spanish and Portuguese, Cantare incorporates Indigenous, European and African cultural influences.
Magic Window is Prince William County Park Authority’s premier performing arts program for children. All shows will be held at the Sean T. Connaughton Community Plaza on Sunday afternoons at 4 p.m. The performances are free and open to the public.
The Sean T. Connaughton Community Plaza is between the James J. McCoart Administration Building and the new Development Services Building near Pfiztner Stadium on County Complex Court in Prince William. Kiwanis install Key Club at Potomac High School
The Woodbridge Kiwanis Club proudly announces the addition of a Key Club at Potomac Senior High School and a Circle K Club at Northern Virginia Community College Woodbridge Campus.
These two clubs join the Key Clubs at Forest Park, Gar-Field, Hylton, and Woodbridge high schools, and a Builders Club at Woodbridge Middle School.
Students interested in joining one of these clubs should contact their school’s guidance department.

Professionals interested in learning more about Alcoholics Anonymous in Northern Virginia are invited to attend a free workshop in Tysons Corner on Aug. 21 at 3 p.m. at the Sheraton Premiere.
