Prince William police reported the following incidents::

Bristow

• A car stereo valued at $950 was stolen from a pick-up parked in the 14300 block of Broadwinged Drive, Thursday around 10 p.m. Police said there were no signs of forced entry into the truck.

• Various jewelry pieces valued at $73,600 were stolen from a home in the 14200 block of Vint Hill Road between Nov. 27 around 1 p.m. and Nov. 28 around 6 a.m.

A gold diamond ring, a wedding band, a bracelet and a watch were some of the items that were stolen. There were no signs of forced entry.

• A resident of the 13500 block of Wanstead Place reported that someone tried to break into his house.

The incident occurred Nov. 29 between noon and 4 p.m. The victim reported that when he returned to his residence he found a window screen removed and the window tampered with.  No one entered the home and nothing was stolen.

• Residents of a home in the 12800 block of Arnot Lane reported suspicious shoeprints on Nov. 30 between 6 and 11 p.m.

The victims reported that an unknown suspect gained entry into their residence while they were in the house. The victims and the suspect did not have any contact during the burglary.

The victims were not injured and nothing was stolen during the incident.

Dale City

• A flat-screen television valued at $800 was stolen from a home in the 3500 block of Beale Court between Nov. 27 around 4 a.m. and Nov. 30 around 10 p.m.

The intruder forced a door open to enter the home.

Dumfries

• A 2002 green four-door Toyota Camry was stolen from the 2700 block of Brier Pond Circle on Nov. 26 around 6 a.m. Police said the victim left the car running unattended. The car was valued at $10,000.

• A safe and personal documents were stolen from a home in the 15700 block of Edgewood Drive between Nov. 27 around 6 p.m. and Nov. 30 around 8 p.m.

Entry was gained by forcing a door open.

•  Necklaces, bracelets, gold rings and earring valued at $6,140 were stolen from a home in the 4300 block of Goldengate Way between Nov. 27 around 5 p.m. and Nov. 28 around 1:19 a.m. There were no signs of forced entry.

Haymarket

• An iPod video valued at $300 was stolen from a home in the 15000 block of Sycamore Hills between Nov. 26 around 3:30 p.m. and Nov. 28 around 2:30 p.m.

The victim reported that when she returned to her residence, the iPod was missing. There were no signs of forced entry.

Manassas area

• A 13-year-old was shot in the head by a BB gun Nov. 26 just before 4:30 p.m. in the 10200 block of Irongate Way. The boy was shot while inside his home, after an altercation between groups of male juveniles. He was treated at a local hospital. Police are still investigating the incident.

• A woman who was just returning home from vacation found her flat-screen TV, an iPod, several DVDs and a cable TV converter box had been stolen from her townhouse in the 8100 block of Community Drive. The woman was on vacation Nov. 13 through Nov. 24. The stolen items were valued at $2,400. Someone forced the rear door open to get inside the house.

• Two 15-year-old boys went to the hospital for wounds they suffered in a fight at Manassas Mall, Friday around 6 p.m. Police were called to the 8300 block of Sudley Road about the fight and said another teenager suspected to be involved left before police arrived. He is described as a black, 17 to 19 years old, wearing blue jeans, a white jacket, a light colored vest and a green buttoned shirt.

• A leather bag, digital camera, GPS unit, cell phone and miscellaneous wrapped presents were stolen from a car parked in the 10700 block of Battleview Parkway, on Saturday around 10:30 p.m. Police said the culprit broke a window to get inside the car. The merchandise was valued at $1,955.

• A Manassas area couple was awakened by a man they said was trying to get into their house through their bedroom window. The incident happened in the on Nov. 25 around 5:30 a.m. When police arrived, the man had already left. He did not get inside. He was said to be 15 to 25 years old.

Spriggs Road area

• Someone driving on Lake Terrapin Drive said someone threw a rock at their car and broke their windshield, on Thursday around 10:30 p.m. No one was injured.

Woodbridge

• A 1995 maroon four-door Honda Accord was stolen between 9 p.m. Thursday and 10 p.m. Friday, from the 3600 block of Del Mar Drive. The car was valued at $2,000.
