Region under tornado watch

Stay close to the radio or TV. The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for the entire D.C. region until 7 p.m. Saturday.
The watch includes Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park.
The weather service says a sharp cold front is moving into the area this afternoon, bringing widespread showers and thunderstorms. Some of those will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes.
