Roommates charged with shooting woman
Cory Northington, 28 and Brittany Wilburn, 18, were charged in connection with a shooting that occurred on Thursday in Lake Ridge.
The 25-year-old woman who was shot is expected to recover.

Two roommates were charged in the shooting of a Lake Ridge woman Thursday morning, Prince William County police said.
Brittany Wilburn, 18, and Cory Northington, 28, were arrested after a county sheriff's deputy found a 25-year-old woman lying on the ground with gunshot wounds, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.
Police say the 18-year-old pulled the trigger.
The two roommates live in Apt. 102 at 3654 Meandering Way in Lake Ridge, police said.
The identity of the victim was not released and her condition was not available at press time.
Police received a 911 call about a domestic dispute and as they were on the way to the apartment in Lake Ridge, the woman was shot, Hernandez said.
Wilburn and Northington were both held without bond and will have their court hearing dates on July 30.
Wilburn was charged with aggravated malicious wounding and reckless handling of a firearm.
Northington was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and brandishing a firearm.

OMG all of you sound so young. Someone was shot(over what) this is not a joke. As far as miss britt taken someones man the sad part is if that is the case chances are someone is gonna take him from her. who cares, sure amm you must be hurting but dont worry all the rest would hurt the same way if it was them. you will be ok. All of you need to realize there are children involved in this entire mess. If you dont respect yourself enough think of the kids this is hurting. all of you need to find something better to do with your lives. EVERYONE get it together you all sound STUPID

Clearly this girls friends are as ignorant as she is. You have a lot of nerve getting on here talking about “what did she do to you”...that’s not the point.
