A teenage boy and two men have been charged in connection with a non-fatal drive-by shooting police say stemmed from an ongoing argument that started roughly four months ago over a stereo system, police said.
Brandon Hunt Chambers, 18, of 10518 Clancy Lane in Bealeton; James Jamal Toatley, 19, of 8666 Bruton Parish Court in Manassas; and a 17-year-old Nokesville boy were each charged with two counts of attempted malicious wounding, one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle and one count of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, said police spokeswoman Officer Erika Hernandez.
According to police, the three got into an argument with a 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, both from Reva, on May 16.
Around 10:30 p.m. that day, the three followed the vehicle the two left in and shot at the vehicle in the area of Nokesville Road and Pennsylvania Avenue, police said.
No one was injured during the incident.
On Wednesday, U.S. Marshals located Toatley on Bruton Parish Court and arrested him, Hernandez said. He is being held without bond.
Chambers turned himself in to police June 5 and was released on a $20,000 bond.
The boy, whose name was not released because he is a juvenile, was taken into custody by the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office and was transported to the Prince William County Juvenile Detention Center.
He will have a hearing in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
Chambers and Toatley are each scheduled to appear in General District Court on July 17, Hernandez said.

We have our own home grown thugs, we don’t need imported ones(criminal illegal aliens) added to the mix!

Wait a minute, I am still trying to figure out why one of these alleged felons have a bond and the other do not. They are charged with the same crime, the appear in court on the same day. What is really going on here? That is the what I would like to know. If one has an extensive record, say so. Otherwise, they should be treated the same.

cville, what the heck does this have to do with hip hop videos? I agree to have these males treated harshly, to include the 17 year old. Want to roll with the big dogs outside the walls, then let them take your manhood behind the walls, THEN he’ll know what it feels like to be GANGSTA! LOL
NCSRFSH, I agree with you, this IS a great example of the diversity within this county.

Little punks acting out their favorite hip hop video. Lock them up and throw away the key. Please no bleeding hearts that tell me these are just misguided kids that need a chance. If they want to act sub-humans then treat them like sub-humans!

Hey Ray, where are ya. Here are two more non-Hispanic criminal defendants. What we could have here is a great example of the diversity within our county.
We won’t know unless they charge the third thug as an adult. I’ve lived in PW for over 40 years. We have always had crime. It’s this senseless kind of crap that saddens me.
