A truck driver was taken to Prince William Hospital on Monday after his tractor-trailer flipped in Gainesville.
The 50-foot tractor trailer was hauling logs into an industrial park around 2:40 p.m. when it overturned.
The driver was making a left turn onto Piney Branch from Wellington Road when the weight of the logs may have shifted, Prince William police 1st Sgt. M.L. Douglas said.
Douglas said the investigation into the accident was ongoing, but the truck appeared to be affiliated with Angler Construction, a local construction company with offices near the accident scene.
A representative from Angler Construction declined to comment on this story.
The driver’s identity, age and condition were not released.
