Hello Manassas, Manassas Park and Prince William County.
This week you can celebrate Stonewall arts at Barnes & Noble, attend the annual Spring Gallery Walk in Old Town, try your hand at the annual Monte Carlo Nite, run away to Neverland with the Pied Piper Theatre, and learn to dance at the Center for the Arts.
Celebrate the arts and music
The public is invited to attend “Celebrating the Arts & Music of Stonewall Jackson High School” April 30-May 3.
Barnes & Noble of Manassas will host the event, bringing the fine arts department center stage for the community to view and hear the students showcase their fine art talents.
The students will be exhibiting interpretive and expressive pieces, the chorus ensemble will sing and the freshman orchestra will perform.
Barnes & Noble is giving a percentage of all sales generated during the event back to the school. For more information call Catherine O-Connor at 571-277-1190.

Spring Gallery Walk Friday
The 10th Annual Spring Gallery Walk is scheduled for Friday from 6 to 9:30 p.m. The Shops at Old Town Manassas will host various artists and offer refreshments. Maps of the walks will be provided and balloons will mark the walk as well.

Monte Carlo night for charity
The Bull Run Rotary of Manassas to present the 12th annual “Monte Carlo Nite” and Silent Auction on Saturday at the Best Western Battlefield Inn, Manassas.
The theme for this event is ‘A Tropical Paradise’ but tropical attire is optional. Admission is $40 per person. Monte Carlo-style gaming and the Texas Hold-Em tournaments are available to all — no payment necessary. There is a suggested donation of $50.00. Proceeds will benefit Transitional Housing BARN, SERVE, Habitat for Humanity, American Red Cross and Special Youth Programs.

Peter Pan opens at Osbourn Park
Neverland awaits for all those who are young or young at heart as Pied Piper Theatre “Peter Pan” returns on May 3 at 7:30 p.m. and May 4 p.m. at Osbourn Park High School, 8909 Euclid Avenue in Manassas. Tickets are available for $7 in advance or $8 at the door.
Dance at the Center for the Arts
The First Sunday Dance at the Center for the Arts will be held this Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Kellar Theatre at the Center for the Arts. The session will include a dance lesson followed by an open dance session. Dances include swing, waltz, fox trot, cha-cha, salsa, rumba, tango, and samba. The cost is a $10 fee at the door.
