Woman airlifted to hospital after crashing her bike

A woman was flown out to Inova Fairfax Hospital from Gar-Field High School in Woodbridge after crashing her bicycle behind CompUSA on Potomac Mills Road in Woodbridge on Tuesday afternoon.
Prince William County Fire and Rescue Lt. Charles Gilliam, who was at the scene, did not know the extent of the woman’s injuries, but said rescue workers felt they were significant enough to have her airlifted to the hospital.
