When I read the letter Zoe Vitter wrote, I was so angry that I trembled. Then when I read Sam Slowinski’s letter praising it, I just had to write my own. Do you not give any thought to seniors and retirees on fixed incomes who cannot afford to have their taxes raised year after year to pay for things they probably aren’t using (schools for example)? And whether you want to believe it or not, there is WASTE.
My children are grown and out of the home and from what I have seen, I couldn’t even imagine bringing a child into this mess today, because unless you know something I don’t, things aren’t getting any better.
The children being born today are going to inherit all of these taxes and debts that just keep on accumulating. Is this what you want for them?
I would also like to know where you purchased your money tree because I don’t have one.
