In this day and age we seldom hear “feel good” stories.
Here is one that is worth sharing. The other day my daughter went to the Gainesville Giant pharmacy to pick up her prescription.
As she approached the counter, she noticed that the woman behind the counter had tears in her eyes. My daughter immediately asked the woman if she was OK.
The woman responded that she was and then proceeded to tell her that a lady had come in to pick up her medicine and when she was given the bill, she began to cry and said she could not afford to pay for it and would have to leave without it.
Several other people in line over heard the comments being made and they proceeded to open their wallets and got together enough cash to pay for the lady’s medicine.
To those who were part of this story, may God bless them and all others who are kind enough to open their hearts and wallets to all who are in need. There is kindness in this world, we just don’t hear enough about it. Keep the faith.
