Great front page story about the 81- year-old man traveling across the country, promoting his choice for president. Clarence L. Hicks from Ohio reportedly bought a 1986 van for $250 and then traveled
over 20,000 miles and spent as much as $15,000 on behalf of his choice for president. What an inspiration for all of us!
Conversely, someone else wrote a letter to the editor accusing the paper of having a liberal bias for Obama and then canceled his subscription! Might do this person well to stop whining, question his own
possible bias and then go on the road with our Mr. Hicks and maybe learn a few things!

How foolish to assume that Obama is not rich… Maybe you should check how many millions he made last year before you say something like that.
The point of the reader was that the newspaper does not provide equal coverage to both candidate which is true. Even with Palin’s good looks they still will not put them on the front page…

I would imagine Mr. Hicks has seen a lot in his 81 years, and is clearly not among the McCain/Palin-rich they cater to. Mr. Hicks understands Barack Obama’s policies will support the working class and middle class to which most of us belong.
