Another laugh from Charles Reichley

I got a good laugh from Charles Reichley’s column of Aug. 14, but it left me with two questions that need to be answered:

(1) Has Mr. Reichley seen John McCain’s television ad titled “Broken” where he states: “we’re worse off than we were four years ago”; note Mr. McCain said four years ago, not two.  You don’t think he’s
running away from Mr. Bush, do you Charles?

And (2), do you actually pay people to write this nonsense?

No doubt, Ron.  Reichley is bad enough.  Concannon and Simpson were just nauseating.

At least, thankfully, we no longer have to deal with the garbage “writing” of Ken Concannon and James Simpson.

“And (2), do you actually pay people to write this nonsense? “

Hilarious.  I swear I have the same reaction to almost every Reichley column.  I also wonder (3) does he actually believe the nonsense he writes or is he just so dedicated to pushing right wing garbage?

I’m glad the Potomac News has columnists from both sides of the political spectrum.  I always find myself wondering though is this really the best they can get?

There is no way McCain is “running” from Bush. Bush will be a featured speaker at the Republican Convention and .... wait .... oh, I’m sorry ... that is Laura Bush, NOT President Bush ... okay, my bad. I guess McCain IS running from the Bush Legacy.
