Regarding Sandi Teets’ comment in her Oct. 2 letter to the editor, I would point out that when Senator Obama said “Jim” during the presidential debate, he was speaking to Jim Lehrer, the moderator; and
the word “orgy” can also be interpreted to mean: “Excessive indulgence in a specific activity.”
Considering the current situation in Congress, I hardly think Obama was using the word to mean anything sexual. No, he probably meant the exorbitant wasteful spending and lack of oversight that
Congress has indulged in over the past eight years. I would suggest that “Sandi” get her facts straight before jumping to thoughtless conclusions.
