Apologist should be ashamed of herself

In her March 30 letter to the editor, Sharon Judd shows herself to be another illegal immigrant apologist who laments the fact that 34 illegals were arrested in Manassas last week by ICE and now face deportation proceedings.

BRAVO for ICE!

Ms. Judd stated that “these were hard working men trying to provide for themselves and their families.” Ms. Judd omitted the fact that one of the illegals arrested, Carlos Moran-Bravo, was a twice-deported convicted felon (attempted murder in New York).  Also, but not related to the ICE raid last week, were two other illegals arrested in separate incidents; one for raping a 4-year old girl and another for a drunk driving accident resulting in a Prince William County police officer having to lay in a hospital bed with pins in his limbs and facing a year or more to recover.

It is shameful and embarassing that people like Ms. Judd support the illegals and refuse to face the fact that these illegal border crossers bring with them lawlessness, crime and disease.  No one knows the magnitude of the increase in murderers, rapists, pedophiles, terrorists, etc. in this country as a result of non-enforcement of immigration laws.

Great job, ICE. Keep up the raids.

No barnun, I’ve been saying for weeks to document those that are here, get fingerprints and DNA samples, addresses and names so we have SOME database of whose in the county or country. The fact this is a stopgap measure somehow offends HSM supporters who will hold their breathe until they turn blue before they compromise on anything. The fact that waiting to take any action makes us more suspectible to crime, unlicensed drivers and such does not
seem to bother them. In fact, if there were stopgap measures, they would no longer have their soapbox to stand on. I say again (and again, and again) if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem ...

it sounds like Ray doesn’t want them to be documented or sent home. It really does have to be one or the other. The next problem is that we dont let in anyone legally with a criminal record but getting any kind of documentation from some of these countries is almost impossible.

ICE is enforcing the law, why apologize for this. If a convict escapes from prison, changes his identity and gets a job, should we then feel bad if he gets caught ? Do we feel bad when any legal citizen gets arrested for breaking a law, any law ? I think the documentation process should be simplified, work visa’s should be much easier to obtain without having to Bribe someone on the southern side of the border while at the same time stop all social benefits for anyone illegal, enforce the laws against those who employ them and enforce the laws within our local communities. that would be the right thing to do overall but Never Ever should we turn a blind eye to the law. I’d like to hear about the fines imposed after the ICE bust. were there any ?

Why some people sympathize with these criminals is beyond me. Right on, Mr Oliver! ICE should keep the raids coming and soon enough, the legal citizens of this country will reclaim what is rightfully ours.

It WOULD be nice to document those in this country illegally by collecting fingerprints, DNA samples, names and current address - you know, just until all 11,999,966 remaining illegals begin their slow march home. If we implement the HSM policy of “just send them home” they should all be gone by Labor Day. So simple, even a Caveman could do it.

Mr. Oliver you are correct!  We are tired of these illegal immigrant apologists. Why don’t they all go to Mexico and El Salvador, and make changes there instead of trying to make us change our laws.

ICE should be commended!  Our Police Department should also be more aggressively enforcing loitering laws at the 7-11’s, and other locations.  Why isn’t our police department enfocing traffic laws and laws regarding out of state tags in our county?

Chief Deane talks tough, but the truth is he is not directing his officers to enforce certain laws.  Laws you and I would be stopped immediately for if we were in violation!
